Lovely article, thank you. I’m thinking a lot about trust at the moment How we build trust across different people and groups. Without this our worlds get smaller and smaller ruled by fear and suspicion.
Blessed are the peacemakers. Sadly, the qualities needed to rise to the top are not always the qualities necessary to govern well. As a result you get short term ego driven thinking which focuses on personal fame or advantage.
But in the meantime my heart breaks and beats for the Middle East. So much culture, art, architecture. So much talent lost to war and so much pain created. Unless we can sort this out we all suffer. Even those places not being bombed.
